|5 cups of rolled oats||1 ½ cups oat bran|
|1 ½ cup wheat germ||1 cup sunflower seeds|
|1 cup pine nuts||1 cup chopped almonds|
|1 ½ cups chopped pecan nuts||1 ½ cups chopped brazil nuts|
|½ cup hazelnuts||½ cup whole almonds|
|¼ cup linseeds||¼ cup sesame seeds|
|¼ cup poppy seeds||¾ cup honey|
|¾ cup maple syrup||2 tablespoons vanilla extract|
|2 tablespoons cinnamon||1 cup rapeseed, linseed or grapeseed oil|
|2 ½ cups mixed dried fruits (sour fruits are good cherries, cranberries, goji as well as raisons and sultanas, dates and apple)|
(preheat the oven to 170C and line two large baking trays.)
- Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix well until all the dry ingredients are well coated. Pour onto baking sheets, spread evenly and press down lightly.
- Bake until crispy and toasted (20mins). Stir once half way through.
- Cook completely before breaking up and putting in an airtight jar.
