The Amazing Teenage Brain – Nicola Morgan
Scientific Research confirms what parents and teachers have long suspected – the teenage brain is different. The book ‘Blame my Brain – The amazing teenage brain revealed’ written by Nicola Morgan was first published in 2005. Updated in 2013, it is a very good, easy to read, easy to understand summary of what science shows are the reasons why teenagers can behave like some of them do. Widely rated as the best book of its kind and full of interesting facts and tips, its really worth reading and sharing with your children. Ive underlined and highlighted throughout mine, but I particularly enjoyed the practical sections and tests, especially the ones on reading facial expressions, which proved to be so very accurate. Although just 200 pages, its definitely worth its 7.99 price tag (5.59 on Amazon). I would recommend it to anyone who lives with or works with adolescents.
